Both plasma and LCD sets have one thing in common: Samsung. Samsung has come out as the leader. I was at Costco comparing the colors of the Sony and Samsung. They were very close in color, but I think the Samsung is slightly more attractive over Sony. At Costco, I thought that the Samsung and Sony were a step above the other sets.
The Vizio seemed to be a little blurred out when looking closely at facial features. The Phillips color was darker and not as appealing. However, all the sets sure beat the older projection television models.
