Plasma television uses millions of pixels that are controlled electronically. Phosphors in Xenon or Neon gas emit light in millions of color shades.
DLP has not gained much market share. Some people say it may have price advantages over plasma in larger screen sizes.
In our opinion, DLP has not gained wide enough use to be seriously considered for television. However, for projectors DLP is a good alternative.
