Plasma screens have a network of millions of pixels sandwiched between two thin layers of glass. Each pixel contains a small amount of Xenon gas. The gas is stimulated electrically. The gas, being heated up by electricity, turns into a plasma (one of the four states of matter). The plasma emits the colors red, green, and blue to create the desired color. The whole process is controlled through advanced electronics. It’s amazing that millions of pixels can be controlled simultaneously to create a “perfect” picture.
